Bonetti The company “Bonetti Brothers“ was founded in Milan in 1965 as a service station and workshop for vehicle equipment, but it also specialized in the construction of racing cars for the “Monza“ circuit as well as in cross country vehicles with diesel engine.
| In 1974 , the first prototype of an agricultural vehicle, the “BONETTI F75“, was developed; it was equipped with all-wheel drive (front-wheel drive disengageable), coach spring system and shock absorbers, tiltable cab for easy access to the engine compartment, spring-mounted seat and electrical equipment according to CEE Standards. At the same time experiments for the “BONETTI F80“ started, a vehicle with similar characteristics but for industrial use.
In 1982 the production was moved to the new premises in Vignate on the outskirts of Milan. The model “Bonetti F100” was the result of innovative technical know-how (steering gears running in oil bath, synchronised ZF steering system, etc.) and replaced the model F80 in 1984 . After nearly twenty years of extraordinary success the production of this vehicle ceased. The new model was offered in various versions, among which versions with a gross weight of more than 3,5 t.
In 2001, after years of research and development and using the experience gained with the previous models, the new “BONETTI F100X” with innovative technical solutions (servo-steering with various ratios, sequential gears, etc.) was launched on the market.
